Randy Hensley

President & Co-Owner

A Memphis State University alumnus, Randy Hensley brings more than 50 years of hands-on HVAC experience to the team. His background spans everything from installation, service, and system design to sales and executive leadership. Today, as President and Co-Owner, Randy supports the company’s daily operations and sales while overseeing accounting, human resources, and marketing.

As the company’s State Contractor Licensing agent, Randy ensures every project is properly permitted and complies with all local Code Enforcement and Licensing Board regulatory standards.

Randy is a second-generation owner who stays true to the core values that built the business: honest recommendations, high-quality workmanship, and dependable service. He continuously moves the company forward by adopting modern comfort solutions and smart heating and cooling technologies, helping local customers enjoy maximum efficiency, convenience, and indoor comfort.

Larry Hensley

Vice President & Co-Owner

Larry Hensley serves as a principal at Hensley Heating & Air Conditioning Co., Inc. Drawing on past experience in construction project management & decades in the HVAC industry, he delivers expertise of energy efficiency, quality construction practices, and indoor environmental quality. A dedicated building science aficionado, Larry continually studies advancements in construction practices, environmental sciences, and HVAC technologies. His work investigating and mitigating problem buildings and faulty HVAC designs has earned him numerous endorsements from peers across the country. An advocate for the real-world application of state-adopted ICC and IECC codes, Larry ensures that all systems installed in new homes by the company have complete ACCA Manuals J, D, and S calculations performed before work begins. He also provides pre-drywall, on-site inspections and consultations with home builder clients to verify and document that framing, mechanical, air-sealing, and attic ventilation requirements are fully met.

Whether providing expert testimony on the application and enforcement of ICC building codes or serving on governmental committees and commissions, Larry remains dedicated to advancing regional building standards, protecting consumers, helping home builder clients build better cost effectively, and supporting local economic development in the Mid-South.

With over 30 years of industry experience, Tara is the friendly, energetic voice who greets customers when they call Hensley Heating & Air Conditioning.

As Operations Manager, Tara coordinates customer service, service dispatching and logistics while overseeing the procurement of parts and equipment. Her extensive experience and strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and local code-enforcement professionals help her find practical solutions and keep each job moving smoothly.

Tara’s responsiveness, resourcefulness, and commitment to personal service help ensure customers receive dependable support from their first call through the completion of their service.
